Your Aspley locksmith

Aspley's wide brick-home streets were built in the 60s and 70s and plenty still wear their original hardware — which is why "the key's getting hard to turn" is the most common phrase we hear up here. Between the Hypermarket precinct's businesses and one of the northside's biggest retiree populations, Aspley work is about patience and straight answers: service the lock if it can be saved, replace it if it can't, and never sell hardware a home doesn't need.

Aspley questions, straight answers

Mum's key is getting harder to turn every month. Does the lock need replacing?

Not necessarily — a worn barrel can often be serviced or re-pinned for much less than a new lock. We'll tell you honestly which it is, and either way she gets a key that turns easily again.

Do you do pensioner rates?

Our prices are flat and fair for everyone, and we're happy to talk through the cheapest way to solve the actual problem — that's usually worth more than a discount on the wrong job.
